Another resident, Mitchell Erickson, said he regretted calling 911 when two black teenagers cornered him a block away from his home, held a gun to his chest and demanded his car keys. Erickson said he mistakenly handed over his house keys, and the frustrated teens left him only to steal another car a few blocks away.

“Been thinking more about it,” Erickson said in a text message to a reporter. “I regret calling the police. It was my instinct but I wish it hadn’t been. I put those boys in danger of death by calling the cops.”

“Yeah I know and yeah it was scary but the cops didn’t really have much to add after I called them,” he continued. “I haven’t been forced to think like this before. So I would have lost my car. So what? At least no one would have been killed.”

The new bar has been set for most pathetic thing I have ever read.

How can someone like this function in daily life?

This just illustrates why we'll never be one big happy family. The world view of these lunatics is so off the deep end there is no reconciling.

Same person probably complains about legal gun ownership while feeling sorry about calling cops on 2 black teenagers robbing him at gunpoint. Like another poster I thought this was Babylonbee satire.

See, when you grow up in the south you know how certain races act...these little white lefties with their nice little neighborhoods could sleep with their windows up and sing with the birds in the mornings. Couldn't fathom everyone not wanting their lifestyle...then they opened the gates and let the trojan horse in. Its so nice to welcome a gift from our enemies...they won't hurt us. They want to protect our children, not burn our city to the ground....

That way of thinking is a disease and those people are dangerous, just as the bums in the park are.

Michell gave them his house keys. Now he gave them his address. Hope he enjoys his visitors.

He's literally so brainwashed that he would get himself killed instead of having them arrested. Unbeliveable

I wonder where this guy would draw the line? What crime would it take for him to call the police?

but the reality is nobody is standing up to this insanity

Because it's being done in neighborhoods full of progs. Move it to the burbs and it's a war.

A lot of the sane liberals in this neighborhood will be "Reagan Republicans" who live in the suburbs within 10 years.

Has the IQ of the American populace plummeted over the last decade? On the one hand, police brutality should not be tolerated.

Yes it sure seems to have. While I don't support police brutality and agree it needs to stop, police have to deal with these same idiots everyday. Imagine if you experienced this lunacy directly while trying to do your job. I'd probably be locked up by now if I had to.
