This will be a game changer for people who are frail due to age or illness. If we have to put up with some gym stolen valor so be it.
we already have things that are for them...but the fda and dea along with potato head when he was in the senate and dumbass hatch from utah deamed them anti american.
hgh and steroids can all do the same things as this drug.
my question is....is this drug an uncoupling agent similar to DNP....will it be run away and uncontrollable like dnp? we have known about dnp for a hundred years now and have never been able to do anything with the mechanisms.....if this new drug is similar and the uncoupling thermogensis can be controlled...combined with semglutide and steroids....holy shite..skys the limit.
i could care less about stolen gym valor...i just dont want to look at fatties all over the place.

Are we talking mitochondrial biogenesis? That's not going to make anyone swole or skinny any time soon. But increased mitochondria would certainly help people burn fat as that would increase how much energy the body can produce relying solely on fat as a fuel source. If you are horrible out of shape and you body can only make 50 watts of power before going anaerobic, and you are so morbidly obese you can't even stand up to take a dump without needing 100W of power and you never actually burn any fat when you exercise. In that scenario all the exercise does is make you hungry to replace the muscle glycogen your body had to use to move you around.

from just a little research i did on it just now, seems to be in the protein uncoupling class similar to dnp. hopefully it works and the heat generated is controllable.
dnp is a miracle drug but the heat generated from the increased metabolism becomes uncontrollable because of the long half life and people not being careful and it only being on the black market so purity and dosage can be all over the place. but it burns fat like no other...problem is people with disorders go crazy with it and end up dying or fricking themselves up badly. so it can never be used as a real drug.

I’m not a doctor or expert, but that’s not how it works. Without proper nutrition and exercise program, Ozempic will zap just as much muscle mass as fat mass. Like most things, you still need the basic foundation of health to really get the benefits.

When they've found drugs like this in the past, there were serious issues like cancer and the trials were halted.

na, just get tired of the fatties of the OT bitching about semaglutide and any medicine that can help overweight people. like they are somehow not fat
for the record glp-1 doesnt cause muscle loss as a mechanism. people are going on extreme caloric deficits, not eating enough protein and not lifting weights. the combo is well known to cause muscle loss....glp-1 or no glp-1

na this seems to be protein uncoupling....no issues with cancer...in fact they can possibly help with cancer...but there have always been issues controlling the internal heat generated from the increase in metabolism. to the point that death is a very real side effect if one doesnt know what they are doing. Can be mitigated but in the past all the uncoupling agents had really long half lifes and would build until issues occured and nothing they could do once they started as it was just ramping up. think DNP, google for deaths from it.
this isnt like Cardarine.

I’d rather people take some kind of responsibility for their own health and not rely on big pharma to fix their problems.
People taking responsibility would be great but it's obvious that is nothing more than wishful thinking, people obviously aren't and have no desire to. I would rather give them a pill than subsidize their medical care due to being fat for decades.
