People taking responsibility would be great but it's obvious that is nothing more than wishful thinking, people obviously aren't and have no desire to. I would rather give them a pill than subsidize their medical care due to being fat for decades.

Their problem, they need to pay for the solution. Rather that’s an expensive pill, expensive insurance or simple diet and exercise change.

Either way, I do agree it isn’t others responsibility to pay higher medical premiums because a tub of lard can’t put the twinkees down

Yea the actual applications of this are pretty cool. Would be very cool if you could take the cast off a broken leg or arm and almost immediately restrengthen the muscles. Or for someone coming off chemo. Or for letting folks in a wheel chair not skip leg day.

for the record glp-1 doesnt cause muscle loss as a mechanism. people are going on extreme caloric deficits, not eating enough protein and not lifting weights. the combo is well known to cause muscle loss....glp-1 or no glp-1

Being that I do lift a lot and eat plenty of protein, I have wondered about possibly trying something like Ozempic.

Won't be long before humanity just hooks itself up to the metaverse and pops Ozempic and this SARMs alternative.

A functioning, “safe” drug that makes people fit would save the healthcare system billions of dollars annually.

I’ll take it a step further, if this drug actually works, your insurance provider will drop you if you’re fat and don’t take it.

Like an old roof on a house in hurricane territory.

Drug companies trying to catch up to the benefits of hot sauna and cold thermogenesis, except the drugs will most definitely have negative side effects. Education and action trump big pharma.

Yes...You will have nothing and be happy. Let the World Order direct your life. Who runs the world order? Big Pharma. Just follow the CDC and continue eating a shite diet and not exercise. Then be sure and pay us and we will save you by putting more chemicals in your body to disrupt your other shitty choices. We will take care of you. Klaus

Another one that’s similar is bam15. A certain coach/guru just offered a paid seminar on it which lends me to think it’ll soon be offered by some peptide source. Or maybe the source is included in the seminar, thats wht it costs $300. lol

yea bam15 scares me. it is directly an uncoupler and only been tested on mice. we know dnp works and can be used safely humans but the window of safe and OD is too narrow for FDA approval. I would much rather use dnp than some unknown like bam15. ill let others be the experiment, not me.

the slu drug in the OP is a Estrogen receptor agonist but for some reason has the ability to increase mitochondrial uncoupling functions. promising but still long ways to go.

if you need an uncoupler, just use Tetradecyl Thioacetic Acid (TTA). legal and can be used safely.

Interesting, figured it has only rat studies. I’ll never touch DNP. TTA is still around? I haven’t heard of that in awhile.

t sounds like it would hurt. At least with exercise you can stop or slow down if the feedback from your muscles is complaining too much. This med might make you feel like you're on a weight machine and can't get off.

You get the equivalent of running a marathon during 8 hours of sleep.

If it's a mitochondrial uncoupler like dnp, there's no way around generating excess heat. There's no free lunch unfortunately.
