You can definitely see how that place could have been washed away. It sits down in a little valley surrounded by water.
I had a small client there at my previous job and used to drive over and meet with them when I was in Pittsburgh. Johnstown folk are as redneck as Southerners just different accents

That and they cry about not being able to find jobs. Here in Louisiana in the 80' you either move out of state or waited tables and tended bar. Jobs weren't plentiful. I tended bar and I enjoyed it. I had food to eat, a roof over my head, girl friends. Life wasn't bad. My only regret was not saving enough. I didn't find a "real job" until I was 28 and that was not in the field I went to school for. I ended up going to business for myself. I still don't work in the profession I went to school for.
