If you plan on living off the government, why did you go to school? Part of your master plan?

It's irrelevant, as it will never apply to me.

Computers and email were supposed to make us a paperless society.

Teleconferencing was supposed to end business travel.

VPN was supposed to end the office.

I never thought I'd live to see another generation that had delusions of grandeur about how they were going to change the world quite like what the Boomers thought of themselves.... Then came along the Millennials. Those two generations are so much alike it's scary.

You realize there has been a push for different work schedules for as long as there have been work schedules right?

From military to industry to regular govt workers and large corporations.

This is nothing new. Unfortunately it's also not new for millenials trying to take credit for nothing.

1) I was being sarcastic
2) I'm 30, so unfortunately, I think I fall into the "millennial" category
3) Don't make excuses for your bad employment status. It's not the prior generation's fault you can't find a decent job.

It would be humorous to watch them implode when the real producers are gone. Mommy and Daddy are going to die one day. And they are already broke from funding Little Jr's lifestyle; so there won't be anything to pick from their bones by then.

I've been working from home for over 4 years and the office was more distracting than my house. "Home distraction" is just an excuse for being lazy and having no accountability.

I think it's a great idea, but it will rely heavily on the honor system. That's a slippery slope. I've never understood why I have to be in an office for 9 hours in order to get 4 hours of work done. It's stupid.

Old people that I work with still print them cause they can't read on a screen apparently. Seriously. They print the email, read it, and throw it away.

I know what you mean, but the way to combat that is to find a career that is stimulating and challenging.

And this is much harder than it sounds. I have career goals, but just unsure of the path to get there.
