Are milennials really to blame? If a business fails, do you blame the customers (or lack of) or do you blame the business for not adapting?
Eh, it is obviously two sided, but they aren't wrong for saying Milennials are killing those chains. There is just the other side of the coin, that those chains have not responded correctly to the changing market. It is just a two sided issue. Millennials aren't eating at those chains, causing them to die. Those chains are not improving their produce/offering to regain that market.

There are few people in this world who work and "earn" more than $1.0 million per year (and the figure is likely lower than that). What always frustrates me (and I own stocks) is how the new CEO's come in and they always cut labor to bump up the stock price. I'd take a small return for not using job cuts to make the bottom line better.

nstead of posting some gif, why don't you tell me why you believe these high paid individuals actually earn their money?

Ok, well tell me what all these individuals earning over $1 million/year do on a daily basis and back it up with actual facts, links, etc. and I'll consider your position.
Show us a pic of your sweet, firm arse too

uh, according to who, you? Because the market dictates what people are worth in this society, not your notions of what hard work is.
No CEO is worth more than $5m per year, and I'm being fairly generous.
I might make an exception for Warren Buffett, but his money comes from more than salary. This is to salary as he does have too much wealth.

Seriously, your utopian world does not exist. You cant change the basics of Economy 101, try as you might.
You get clobbered in these debates, and then nothing changes.

Simple solution: Don't let them. You don't get to build your business here then move because we won't let your selfish CEO garner some outlandish, lavish salary.
You sound about like a girl I know that thinks the stock market is fake.

Actually, I win these debates. Do the Waltons need all their wealth while we actually subsidize the crappy pay of their employees? Living wage legislation is way overdue.

You just argued that in order to make a living wage law work, you have to pass another law in order to prevent the market from working how it needs to work.
So, in order to make your legislation "work", you have to have more legislation to try and circumvent supply and demand. "Winning"

Seriously, over the years what has changed? You lose. Here's a thought, give all your wealth to a charity. Then you'll feel like you made a difference?

Or it could be that those chains just suck.

If what they did was so easy, wouldn't everyone start their own wal-mart? They are so wealthy because they started and run one of the most successful businesses in the country.

That’s quite a compliment for Sally Smith.
I kid, she’s a very nice woman.

Well, then what in your opinion would be an acceptable profit for Wal-Mart to make? If you want to have the discussion, let's at least try and establish what your parameters are.

One of the last times I went to the Bluebonnet BWW (I'll admit to watching out of market games there from 2007-2010ish), there was one of the NBA Finals games on TV. So, a lot of the crowd was geared toward that fan base.
Well, not completely geared. There was this one random guy next to me who should have paid better attention in school and less time getting his white robe dry cleaned. He was texting his friend and he turns to me (the other white guy in the building) and says, "Excuse me, is this how you spell ni****?" in an uncomfortably loud voice.

I am all for a small increase in minimum wage but not jumping to $15 / hour. If they don't like their current situation, Wal-mart does provide things like scholarships, managers in training, etc. Or if not through them, go elsewhere to learn a new skill that pays more than minimum wage. Fast food workers and general walmart employee positions are not supposed to be a long term thing. My mom when she was going to school a million years ago worked 3 jobs, including working at a grocery store, to put herself through school and pay her bills. I will never support a $15 minimum wage.
