he reasoning the research in the OP determined was that millennials tend to favor cooking at home, not that millennial servers are driving people away from chain restaurants.
Go back to me original post. I was not talking about the OP. I was referring to a specific statement that I even quoted where the person I quoted cited poor food and service as being a driving factor in his not eating at those places. Here is the post I quoted.

Last two times I dined at Buffalo Wild wings the service was terrible and the food was mediocre for the price. Not sure millennials are to blame here.
You’re totally mischaracterizing my post.

I’ve worked for BWW since I was 17. The problems are
-HQ Is a bunch of dumbasses. Always 2-3 years behind everything, never wants to change or adapt
-refuse to staff appropriately for a restaurant (no bussers, no expos, no food runners)
-ALLL FOOD is premade and frozen, except for like pico lol
-general trash clientele (when you have nothing but Walmart type people all day everyday it really makes you not care in general)
-half of the stores are franchises, and only have a franchise consultant stop in once or twice a year, so there is no real consistency or strict corporate leadership
Everything is very overpriced but the wings actually, wings are very expensive at least the past couple years they have been

Most young workers cannot afford to eat at casual dining restaurants. If you make $8 an hour, how are you going to afford a $20 meal?

This myth has been debunked repeatedly by none other than economist and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.

How about the usual minimum wage. They're still living with mommy and daddy anyway, with a degree from Yale in Russian literature.

Most minimum wage earners are NOT living at home, nor are they college educated.
Of all people, you should know that income inequality will lead to the downfall of this country. Unless we place limits on wealth and income, the country will fail.
My only issue with forcing income and wealth equality is that I don't want money going to to government since the government will waste it.

Explain to me WHY any fast food worker deserves that much? After YEARS working for a business, I finally got to $15 / hour and it was doing much harder work than flipping burgers. I never made more than $15 an hour until I went back and graduated from college.

TLDR:
Millennials are to blame for shitty restaurants not having people coming in to eat their shitty microwaved food.
