It’s not just a poverty thing, it’s a culture issue

Family of the victim should pick out a member of each of these 2 assholes and murder them while they have to watch.

I'm quite certain everyone did, because that's the correct guess 99.9% of the time.

It has to do with and was in response to this statement

I saw posters surprised by the race of the criminals and this is going to be an unpopular statement but this is a poverty\education\parenting issue. Battle Creek MI has a poverty rate of 28%. Based on the census data I found, NOLA is at 19%. It is the same thing in the south except the poor uneducated broken home criminals are a different demographic down here.

I hear this argument a lot, and I have come up with a rebuttal. If violence and criminal behavior within the black community is based on poverty and lack of resources, why do wealthy black athletes and entertainers still get in trouble more than their white counterparts?

At least it’s not in N.O. where the mayor would show up in court and ask the judge for leniency. Lock them animals up.

Didn’t take long for the OT to make this about NOLA. Even whitey in the suburbs is shooting now. You baws better realize this isn’t limited to NOLA anymore.

Parents? They may not even know where they are. A big problem these days are dads skipping out, or both parents skipping out. People should take parenting more seriously. It's not like owning a fish.

A lack of parents and public schools.

One of my coworkers has a son at Mandeville high and is pulling him out due to how ghetto the kids act. And Mandeville is a nice area, these kids just don’t get disciplined at home or school.

In present day Earth, this should never be a consideration. People don’t think it be like that, but it do.

I hate to say it, but it's the truth. Last time I picked someone up, it looked like a young teen, walking with a basketball in hand. As it was pouring down raining, I decided to be a good samaritan and pick him up. When I dropped him off at his house, he got out the car and didn't even as so much as say thank-you. Not to mention he stole my charger and Snickers bar which were sitting in the middle console. That pissed me off.

At this point, the only way I ever pick someone up is if it's either a pregnant lady or a mother with a young child.

I think violent crime rates will rise across all races in the next few years.

Rise in inflation and inability to provide will increase crime. Going to be a rough next 10 years.

Well it’s a dumb response.

You highlighted people NOT following Christ as a representative of Christ in response to people NOT following Christ as being representative of NOT following Christ.

Turns out not following Christ is bad across the board.

Stock the F up on guns, gold, ammo, and barter-able goods. Dollar is crashing in the next year. Book it.

Or don’t.

My rebuttal to yours, most of these folks grow up poor, uneducated and from a broken home. They hit it big but still have hangers around from childhood and the attitudes\tendencies they grew up with.

I'm sorry I wasn't gonna let this slide. Who are the rich successful black people who celebrate violence. Rappers don't count.

For one, most successful black athletes/entertainers are not getting in trouble.

For the ones who do, they're always guys who grew up in the hood, but never learned how to leave it behind them. It's the ones who continued to hang around the folks in their hometown instead of moving on with their life.

Nah it’s perfectly valid. You just don’t like the truth of it.

quote:

not like those secular kids who encompass 90% of violent crime

This was said to make a point that most crimes are committed by people not into religion.

I was just pointing out a large number of people that are into religion that commit crimes.
