Michael Peterson vs Scott Peterson - did both of them actually do it?

Or is there enough doubt in each case where you’d be unable to support conviction?
Scott had the sketchy timeline and the violent crime issue in his neighborhood. Was that overlooked?
Did Micheal’s drunk wife fall down a curved staircase and he was convicted due to major prosecutor misconduct?
Or were they both guilty AF of the actual crimes (and not just of being total assholes)?

I think Michael Peterson is innocent.

Micheal might not have done it.

Michael definitely did it and killed his previous wife too

Listen to the Timesuck episode for Scott Peterson. There can be a compelling case made that he may not have did it.

Throw in Drew Peterson as well. All 3 guilty af.

I listened to it. If the defense had done a better job, a jury should have never been able to come to the murder conviction beyond reasonable doubt. But I still think it’s more likely than not he did it.

No doubt, dude got caught lying about everything but he acted like he wouldn’t accept the Alford plea because he was so honorable and just couldn’t plead guilty when he wasn’t.

Don’t know who Scott Peterson is but Michael Peterson I think did it. Dude lived a double life and has lied about very serious things throughout his life. The several lacerations on his wife’s skull and damage to her thyroid I think we’re not consistent with a fall down the stairs.

Is that the staircase one? Didn’t his wife sprain her neck in the pool the month before? Or did he lie about that too?
This might be one of those cases where he did it, but the evidence and motive is sketchy enough where he should have probably gotten off.

The evidence against OJ was far more overwhelming than in either of the Peterson cases.
The OJ case was a huge miscarriage of justice.

Yeah that’s the staircase one. The defense made a decent case of the evidence could be from falling but they couldn’t explain the damage to her thyroid. The motive I think is why he ultimately got convicted at first. They were in massive debt and marriage was not what it seemed behind closed doors. He also lived a double life sleeping with male escorts that he claims his wife knew about. But I find it hard to believe any sane woman would be ok with that.
I’m not sure about his wife spraining her neck in the pool. In the series I just watched she was wearing a neck brace for half of it. But not sure if they said why.

Wasn't there a theory that an owl attacked her while she was walking inside? She was drunk and on a bunch of blood thinners which made her bleed out quickly. Believe they actually found small owl feathers on her at the scene.
He probably did it though.

I finished the Staircase last night. I was not familiar with this case until watching this series.
IMO Michael's wife had damages that were beyond falling down the stairs. He had another wife die in a similar way right? And he was going around fricking dudes without his wife knowing.
I don't see how he didn't do it.
