I'll try this again. BURRY SAID white collar jobs are being lost, and will continue happening. BURRY blames it on the WFH movement
You can feel confident all you want in how valuable you are worling at home, but you really wont know until you get that pink slip. WHICH BURRY SAID is happening in significant numbers; to WFH folks. And they are being let go because . . . . the exec doesnt view them as critical? Or they wouldnt be let go, right?
None of that is my opinion. Its happening in real time

That's not what he said, at least, not only to WFH workers.

Brain washed to believing that salaried=on call and average 65-80 hour weeks.

Agreed. Not sure what that has to do with giving away your labor for free.

Um, people are and people are freaking out about it. Companies have adjusted and are offering more PTO and $. How is it that inflation has outpaced wages by ALOT and many of the larger companies had record breaking profits? I’m not talking about forcing a living wage, raising minimum wage or any of that garbage. I’m talking about companies that post a record profit, but because they planned 16% growth and “only” hit 13%, they lower bonuses or say they missed plan so they can’t offer a raise this year.
I’m not asking government to legislate any of this because I’m not a commie, but people need to stop sucking that corporate dick to “pay dues” and start calling bullshite when they see it. A record year deserves more than a “pizza party!!!!”

Why are y’all so obsessed with WFH? If the office is so much better than why do y’all constantly bish and moan like little girls. Dead arse

Often times hiring is based on expected revenue. So missing a target even by a little messes up the budget because hiring comes before the revenue.
That may not be an acceptable answer for you, but it's how it is in a lot of companies.
Also, executive and upper management bonuses are often dependent on hitting those revenue goals, so it's not always the case that only the little guy takes a hit. Our managing directors and C-suite folks lose out on 6 figures when targets aren't hit.

Boomers don’t have their millennials in the office anymore converting their word docs to pdf’s so they’re getting pissy.

WFH is a bastardized model the plandemic forced on us, and the millenials can't seem to understand that you have to show up to keep a job.

I will gladly not hire you or anybody else with this attitude. I think you should find a large liberal media company to work at, you could hide (er, fit in) very well there.

I work at a professional service firm. As long as my work gets done no one asks my why I wasn't in the office last Thursday or why I didn't get there until 8:45.

Are you an actual business owner and this is how your hourly employees are treated? That would SUCK
Our hourly employees have all been here long enough for 3 weeks paid vacation, and a couple of them have 4 weeks. They also get the same retirement and health insurance as everyone else

Probably because they are used to not being able to see the midget working in the cubicle. How far do your little stubby legs dangle from your office chair?
