Almost all of them now put out pilsner or lagers. Hell, even light lagers and things just like bud light but with actual flavor.
Well, that is good to hear but our local spot for craft beers has been closed for a while now although it has re-opened as a asian-fusion bbq place. During its prime it was a great place for craft beers but the unstoppable descent downhill started when our favorite server left. The death knell happened when they let a dark beer lover decide what was available on the 64 taps that they had.

it's vv easy because it sucks

Understandable. A lot of bars don't have someone who knows beer in charge. In those cases hopefully they ask a friend to help.
Usually, they give in to the beer rep or put what moves on the tap. It is an interesting world seeing the fight for taps and placement. The major brands still run the distributors and give money and preference to their brands getting pushed.

Actually it's the easiest... so much beer out there.
quote:"Bud-Light" did not hire the tranny. There was no commercial. The tranny shite was done by one or at most two people. Both were gone from the company shortly after. While not confirmed, there was talk that Heinerscheid did everything she could to shield this from higher ups at the company. It was not a "company" decision. Bud Light is nothing like Ben and Jerry's, Patagonia, that spice company? etc.
What makes it dumb, exactly?
quote:No, tell me more.
You DO know it wasn't just the tranny shite, right?

This is a comical part. A lot of the pissed people don't even know what the situation was.
Years on people think there was a national commercial and marketing push with the tranny as a spokesperson.

This doesn't make them look better. It makes them look dumber. Their entire brand and vision can be controlled and manipulated by a couple of people without the involvement of higher ups?

Yep.
It’s fun to egg folks on about it, though. Then suddenly Kidd Rock and Dana White a year after everyone got pissed at Bud Light come out sporting it.
Schilling Distributing in Acadiana had to go hardcore on the radio ads shortly after the outrage began to keep reminding everyone that Bud Light is a great beer, brewed with local rice and part of South Louisiana tradition.

I honestly only consider Bud Light to be tranny beer. The other brands under the umbrella had nothing to do with Mulvaney. We did initially boycott all AB.
Same here. I felt the message was sent with BL.

That falls in line with Michelob Ultra's focus on folks with active lifestyles

last year (or year before) at an LSU game, one of the concession stands had a sign that read "Domestic beer $X , Premium Beer $Y"
I asked the dude what kind of Premium Beer they carried.
and with the pride of a father watching his son hit his first homer, dude beamed "ooh we have Mich Ultra"
I walked away without a beer.
