zero zoning laws where you can have a business in the middle of your “neighborhood” sucks

Yeah well this just isn’t true. Maybe you’re thinking of Houston

The streets are kind of a plus for Metairie. There are multiple east west streets to help you get where you are going. Unlike BR where if there is a wreck on the interstate, it seems like half the city gets screwed up

No I’m thinking of Metairie where there are restaurants and other business in the middle of “neighborhoods”

With East Jeff hospital becoming more of a teaching hospital, they are banking on med residents living there.

Whether it works who knows

JP is fantastic. Close to the world famous restaurants and events of the great City of New Orleans, but avoids the crime driven by liberal policies that Orleans parish suffers from.

It sure is. It’s booming with foreigners and seeing a lot of “Texas” drivers. And some who don’t even bother to list the state their “plate” is “registered.” Take a ride down David Drive and you’ll need never need to visit Mexico. Metairie was ok some years back, it’s turning into Nola now. There’s too many people here, or as someone said, everyone has a car and all out the same time. I can’t wait to retire and get out.

Worst thing JP did was zone all that shite R2. Problem is, back in the 70's and 80's when all those apartments were built, younger professionals were moving in, now it's just the opposite.

Metairie should ask themselves where the young professionals went and why they moved on

The best city in Louisiana argument is always fun. It’s the second best cripple fight behind Oweo vs Owlfan.
