I could probably fill the back of my truck up with the amount of chex party mix I make.

Kisses Tree..used to make this back in the 1970s and only recently resurrected this for my family.

"Forgotten" Cookies. (Recipe on Food board) An old school cookie that I haven't seen since the 1970s. Loved bringing this back last year and now its part of every Christmas.

Who doesn't love Haystacks?

HOMEMADE SAUSAGE BALLS >>>>>>>> anything frozen

Nod out to my grandmother..Cayenne pepper cheese straws!! These things are the BOMB

ORANGE BALLS! Best Christmas treat ever

Found a 'paper snowflake' pattern online I liked. Do you see *BOTH* characters?

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS YOU FILTHY ANIMALS!

I would make fun of you for baking, but I love to eat and that stuff looks good.

Neat Star Wars snowflake. Well done there. Food and drinks are also on point!

Sadly, I have no Christmas traditions apart from going to visit the in-laws in Gainesville GA, or my side of the family down in Dothan AL.

The wife and I have no kids and both of us hate taking down decorations so much that we figure we might as well not put them up in the first place. Besides, her mother decorates elaborately enough for the whole extended family.

Closest thing I can say we have to a Christmas tradition is to settle down in front of the TV and watch "Rare Exports" on Amazon Prime or Netflix. Definitely my favorite Christmas movie.

Watching Christmas movies together. Doing Christmas Karaoke. Decorating the whole house. Christmas patches. Matching Christmas pajamas/shirts made for the family. Making stockings for kids less fortunate than us.
Doing a little tree for my brother’s grave.

Scotch left out for Santa.
Just being silly and together. Making memories. Enjoying what precious time we get

No need to feel down about that. We're not suffering depression around here. If it's not too cold outside, I may sneak off and hit some of the nearby trout waters for a little fly-fishing. Otherwise, it'll be a day with one side or the other of the family and getting way too much to eat.

Thanks for the generous offer though - and MERRY CHRISTMAS from this crotchety ol' Grinch!

I think it's cool. If you don't keep it going, it won't be a tradition long.

My daughter is starting to show an interest in cooking. My wife had a freezer full of microwavable dinners when we met, so needless to say, the cooking fell on me.

Started when our boys were little. Instead of a star or angel on top of the tree we have a Santa hat. Christmas morning we take it down and give it to one of the boys who then acts as Santa and hands out gifts. But, they're 20 and 15 now...so other than for the photos and joke of it the magic is gone...

I also write a "Santa Letter" to each one every year (as Santa when they were younger) which was always left by the eaten cookie plate sort of telling them how proud we were of all the things they'd done that year, things they could work on, etc. Still do that, and have all of them form when they were little in a file somewhere.

New tradition this year: we're opening presents with the wife's family on Christmas Eve.

The extended family comes over to my mother in law's house around noon on Christmas day, which meant it was a mad dash for the immediate family to exchange gifts beforehand. And my poor mother in law missed most of it because she was always cooking.

Now I can sleep in a little on Christmas Day, and not have to worry about heading to mom in law's house at 8am.

eta: I need that recipe for the orange balls.

There's a YouTube channel of a quite Urban young black guy, and all he does is cook pies.

And whatever I want it I can't help but think we are all exactly the same
