Everytime I see Elon Musk mentioned I think it's a cologne.

I think price range was the wrong word to use there. I don't mind spending 300 on something I know I will use frequently. I am just getting back into using perfumes after thinking I had developed skin allergies for 5 years of marriage. If I continue being able to use it, I don't mind dropping cash on something nice like that.

a few small (10ml) decants from eBay would be perfect to see what you like and would be worth purchasing a full bottle.

If you like green Irish tweed, do cool water. It’s exactly the same.

Blue de Chanel is my favorite

Aqua do gio is nice

Polo black or red is also nice

Lacoste white

I use this also. I want to try the Aventus. Creed is hard to beat in any variety. Classic stuff but pricey

Aventus is my favorite Creed to wear if I'm going out etc. Always get asked what I'm wearing. I also have green irish tweed and the imperial one which are good too.

Yeah Creed is expensive. My advice is don't buy retail bottles, buy splits instead. A split is where someone buys one of the huge decanter bottles at wholesale and then sells smaller bottles from it.

For example a retail 3.3oz bottle of Aventus is $500. Where I buy splits from, the guy sells it for $190. You don't get the fancy bottle but I could care less. Just bought new split of Aventus a couple months ago.

I make my own by boiling fresh killed beaver scent glands in mink oil and Hoppes #9 bore cleaner. Then you age it in a hickory barrel charred with cordite. The panties will hit the floor so hard your next door neighbors will hear it.

I do like Savauge; however, both my 12 yr boys wear it bc that’s what they’re all wearing…..

I like Issey Miyake for the panty drop and Burberry Touch. Loved original Burberry before they started selling at Walmart….

Still using the quart I bought in the 80s. A little goes a long way.

Pierre Cardin. It stinks, but in a natural manner.

Today's Brut is just a timid, pale facsimile of the original scent in the 1960's, and it's too bad the old standbys like Hai Karate, Jade East and Bacchus (manufactured by Pfizer back when cologne was more profitable than clot shots!) are long defunct.

All of it STINKS. Don’t you men realize women just like a natural scent on a guy? I’ll take some good natural sweaty armpit B.O. any day over this AXE bull shite.

I don't think people are reading your whole post.

I downvoted but changed to an up vote when I saw the last line.
