Having a beard is called a fad because of all the beta bitches who have grown one thinking it makes them appear to be more manly then they really are. For THOSE douches it's a fad, for those men who aren't sporting beards to try to fake being a man, it's not a fad.

I like to rotate between clean shaven, light stubble, and heavy stubble during the year.

Regarding the pics of the douchey looking dudes with beards, I'm guessing women would prefer that look over the same guys with no beards. Of course, not nearly as much as normal guys like me when clean shaven.

Sure can, and have a shaven face but the back/neck hair to prove it.

Used to have one until I realized I wasnt a hipster or a Duck Commander

I don't have a beard because of how it looks to women. I have a beard because I look about 14 when I'm clean shaven.

Full beards

A former girlfriend actually encouraged me to grow my facial hair out. I used to clean shave my face and head every day. My current girlfriend and soon to be wife has never seen me without a beard, and she loves it. Maybe it's because I'm a ginger. LOL

I don't think my wife has ever seen me clean shaven either. We've been married for 13 years. She doesn't care one way or the other. I just hate to shave.

Coincidentally that’s my preference in regards to women’s pubic hair.

My wife and daughter liked the beard better so I grew it back.

The last time I shaved my beard my daughter cried when I picked her up from school. I can take a hint.

According to a study published in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology.
8,500 women were asked to rate men on their attractiveness as a long term
romantic partner.
Here's how the facial hair rated:
1. Heavy stubble
2. Full beards
3. Light stubble
4. Clean shaven
Beards were associated with a man's
masculine social dominance.

Same format applies to gay men too.

These threads are always hilarious

Stubble rocker checking in. My “beard” is tragic and I hate using a razor. Electric razor every other day with a 2 guard. Permastubble.

The bearded lady always scared me as kid whenever the circus came to town. Til that day I never feared clowns again.

Ironically, often that is not the case.

Seems like a silly study.

Just like baldness, it’s very dependent on the person rocking the style. For baldness, there’s good bald and bad bald. Some bald men look insecure, pathetic, and cancer-stricken. Others look like a certified badass.

Same goes for beards. If you have a shite beard, women will prefer you clean shaven. If you have a glorious beard, then flaunt that sucka.

Your boy Norbert grows a shitbeard. I know this, and so I have always kept it clean or to a mild stubble. But I have a decent mug and overall athletic body type and don’t look 12.

So, I’ve always done just fine.

To each their own.
