I see a few guys wearing them at the LA Fitness I go to in Kissimmee. Maybe it is a Florida phenomena.
I tried them on at the Lululemon store and they are extremely comfortable like a girlfriend told me, but I didn't buy them I'm an OG and wear Zubaz sans fanny pack to the gym. Zubaz are very comfortable too.

I can't pull the look off so I don't wear them. But they look perfectly fine on shorter guys.

I had to wear leggings but they were medical compression grade.
I was diagnosed with vericose veins in one leg.
I had a procedure and now no longer need them.

I've only seen a few and it was in the French Quarter recently. Pretty sure they were gay. I don't think it's a huge trend.

I wear them for grappling, but I have shorts over them so you don't see moose knuckles hanging. I don't normally bring my funky arse in public afterwards, but there's that occasional run to Rouse's on the way home to get some food because I have nothing in the fridge.
