I earned that much my first year working at a well known plant. The year was 1978.

a plumber
Or electrician or HVAC guy. The demand won't go down for those services and there are less people willing to do the work. Hence what they charge will go up. Nothing wrong with physical labor to make a living.

This chart is taking all the people in college into this number also. This is going to bring the number down substantially.

God I hope your finance degree makes you rich because I fear you might end your life if you don't become some big city rich elite guy.

Maybe because all of my posts aren't about how I'm white, have money, and am better than 99% of the US.
That might be it.

Market sucks, and has for years

That map has been debunked numerous times. Nothing to see here....

All of your posts (that I see) are bitching about me. kind of weird brah.

You have no idea. A couple of hours of over time here and there and 100k isn't too hard to break.

This thread always turns into someone trying to argue that everyone needs to be a plumber

Post a link for your map and what the source data is, and then you will see why that map is garbage.
It's quintessential statistics, as it's telling a story that someone is pushing, yet not exactly the entire story.

This is because your average millennial grew up with a monetary safety net and went to college for a liberal arts degree and now complains about the economy even though they have zero marketable skills.
you're a moron. do you even oilfield, bro?

Well shite I'm doing ok then.
Posted on 2/1/17 at 10:54 pm to chewstick
If everyone was a plumber then they wouldn't make shite and degrees would be more worth it.

I've probably addressed you 3 or 4 times on this site in as many years.
The 'who are you' response is funny though. I didn't start posting on this message board yesterday.

Django makes $22k a week, why are all these other millennials so broke, lazy and trashy?

Or a frickin welder.
people talk about welders like they're ballers or something. dude, welders are making on average between $19 and $22 an hour, and thats IF you have a job. we hire welders and we turn away HUNDREDS a day because there's no work. i talk to welders everyday that havnt worked in many months. and you cant just blame it on the downturn.....even when its good you never know how long you'll be on a job or if you'll even have a job when this one ends. it's an entire lifetime of never knowing where or if you'll be working next.
its one of the most over-glorified careers by the general public i've ever seen.
