You can't live on that income (Texas). I guess I'm a millennial and my property taxes are more than that (we have high property taxes compared to other states).

30k in the 70s was solid middle class numb nuts. Average income was around 10k at that time. AVERAGE. minimum wage was 1.60. If you're going to compare income from different eras, at least get them right.

5 years dealing with EPA, OSHA, and DOT. Coss and OSHA 501 certs.
