I don't believe jack shite the media says. He may or may not have said it. Maybe the video guy was pressured to say that he heard him say it. Weren't they on that dudes arse about something? So maybe he is just "cooperating" with the prosecutors. If it can't be heard on video then I have my doubts. Prosecutors are rotten as frick.

There is no 1st degree murder in Georgia. They are already charged with the highest "level" of homicide they can be in the state of Georgia.
Okay then. This news does nothing but help bolster the case of the prosecution.

Langland is yet another in a long list of posters who've been blown the frick out on this subject. That post is par for the course for him. He can't handle it.

I always wonder why this reasoning only goes one way.
You think any inaccuracies might make it less damning for McMichael, but what if they make it more damning?
Also, yeah, the cops pressured a witness, faked his IG posts, and also edited the video of the shooting to make it look like homicide. All to wrongfully convict an ex-cop, because cops secretly hate each other and would never want to protect one of their own.

Yeah, probably. You could call him a robber, rapist, dog murderer or all three. Yet you go straight to the racial slurs.

someone of color was trespassing
So you're equating the anger you'd feel towards a man trespassing in someone else's construction zone with the anger you'd feel towards someone who robbed you, raped your daughter and shot your dog?

use of the word occurs after you witness the behavior. If you use it before, that's racism IMO.
Well, McMichael used the n-word before and after the shooting, so there you go.

In reference to bad people doing bad things in his neighborhood correct?

The n word isn’t that incriminating, what is incriminating is both his past history and the thing about chasing Arbery and bumping him with the truck. Harassing the guy, confronting him and then shooting him as the guy desperately tried to escape is his I see it.
Now we are not in court, we don’t know everything, but right now that looks how it went down. The name calling just meshes with we know the McMichaels did.

The question for me is, do you believe that Jr was going to shoot him regardless? If AA stopped and waited for police they'd say "thanks boy for making it easier to shoot you" and then tell police later that he fought them? If no, then it's not murder.
What the frick kind of dumbass logic is this

Yeah, I was just responding to that guy.
The major issues are obviously first shooting and killing Arbery, then the circumstances of the confrontation. Calling him a f***ing n-word after really just sheds light on his motivation and mindset.

I thought he said it in relation to not seeing any black people out on the water on a boat, but I didn't read it in detail.
I actually agree that use of a racial slur doesn't automatically make one racist, but I've always maintained that using the slur is sort of a "social forfeiture" of the argument (as to whether you're racist or not).

To me it gives a ton of credence to the logic that the McMichaels acted a certain way towards Arbery that they wouldn't have acted towards a non-black person.
If you're dropping hard R's on the reg and you gun down a black guy because he might have trespassed onto a construction site a block away, those types of comments/statements can give you a idea of their mindset was when they decided to pursue, assault and ultimately murder AA.
It's unfortunate that people harbor those thoughts, but there's not much we can do about that. To me, the biggest part of this story from day 1 was the increasingly apparent cover up by either the police, the DA(s) or both. It's disgusting that your local government is OK with letting killers go free without a trial as long as they are connected. That's the real story in my eyes. Racism is bad, but government etc can't prevent or eliminate racism. But they can and have a duty to root out corruption. They appeared to have failed MASSIVELY in that respect in this case.
