when a customer crosses that barrier/door and goes in the back work space, those workers have the right to beat the ever loving..................... out of her. They merely have to say I felt like she was threatening and was going to harm all of us so we took care of this before she would hit us.

Wonderful idea but it would never happen unfortunately. The dependent/entitlement mindset is already too deeply ingrained.
