re: McDonald’s bringing back fried apple pies

I worked at McDs when they switched the pies back in the late 80s early 90s. Fried pies rocked but you could burn your tongue if you ate one too soon out of the grease. The new pies were baked.

Will need one and to fill it with blue bell vanilla

Not a big fan of apple so I took the apple chunks out and left just a little sauce. The crust was what I really liked about it.

LikeTaco Bell charging $3 for a revived MexiMelt last year.

i'll eat one for nostalgia's sake. i havent had one in probably 40+ years.

Guess I'm going to have to burn the roof of my mouth off for old times sake.

McDonalds had some pretty amazing Apple Muffins back in the day too.

They also had this grilled chicken wrap deal that was on a flatbread before it seemed that flatbread really was a thing. I remember it had whole chunks of tomatoes on it and some type of creamy sauce, probably circa 1997-98.

When I read they have been gone almost 30 years I had to do a double take as if that couldn't possibly be true
