Do you actually expect those ice cream machines at McDonald’s to not be full of bacteria and soiled dairy residues?

the machine has a bunch of fricking parts and has to be broken down every day and cleaned. sometimes if you dont' know what you are doing and you put it together wrong, it won't work. 80% of the ice cream machine issues come from someone at work finding out the person who broke ti down the previous night didn't put it back together right the other 20% come from you coming to mcdonalds at 9pm thinking you are going to get some ice cream and they already broke it down so they can actually get off work at 11 instead of 12:30

Yep. We called our ice cream machine McBitch.

Easily an hour to break down and clean. Nobody wants to put it back together in the morning. The only time they actually "break" is if someone forgets to fill the milk and the thing freezes up.

they dont want to clean it so it just suits there filled with mold and mildew, if you saw the inside of one you would puke and never think of asking for their ice cream again. managers have to clean it themselves if they want to sell ice cream so it never happens except rare occasions where a "real" manager who cares is hired

bullshite....Managers can and will but also direct other employees to do so.

I was in high school taking that thing apart.

They say it's broke because they've torn it apart too soon because it is a time consuming process. Then the parts are cleaned/sanitized then has to be put back together which is more time.

They don't want to deal with selling ice cream after a certain time because of the process etc.

Sonic stuff isn’t even ice cream.

I was cleaning out an SUV we had a couple of years ago and a kid had stuffed a Sonic treat behind a seat.

It had been a month and that shite didn’t melt.

I would guess they went to McDonalds because an ice cream specific place would be super expensive compared to a McDonalds cone

Didn’t know that.

Hard to beat that sammich.

Spicy chicken and their fries are the only reason anyone should go there even though the fries are probably more wax than potato.

They should just not sell ice cream. I didn’t realize anyone even went there for ice cream.

Have you seen what McDonald's hires as managers now? A lot of times, it's hard to tell the difference between the fry cook and the manager.

That was disrespectful to your wife’s entourage.

And I’m also sick of the machines always being broken.

We should start a movement to shame McDonald’s into action. I’m thinking a #FreeDevinWhite style campaign. Let’s rent some billboards outside of McDonald’s HQ that simply says “Fix your damn shake machines!!!”

The ironic thing is that McDonald's blew up on a national scale because of their high tech (at the time) shake machine.
