Dude drives up to a 'struggling' papermill in a SL 500. Immediately buys a $650k house in Denham, then starts calling mandatory town hall meetings at the mill, telling salary folks they won't be there in a year if they ain't on board with the new philosophy. Bad Form is an understatement.
He came in like Joe Clark or some shite but it backfired quickly. These weren't kids nor Eastside High school. Nor is Baton Rouge the same situation as a small mill in the middle of nowhere Alabama. This mill is <50 miles from a shite ton of chem plants and refineries. They admittedly did NOT expect a TON(over 125 in 15 months actually) of experienced engineers and ops professionals to hit the door before any layoffs. Basically professionals with options or close to retirement said "frick YOU!".

MM, his A-1 bootlicker, must be reading these posts and downvoting us.
Your statement about management applies only since about 09. Koch took over ~07 but didn't really start tinkering with their tactical insertions the first couple of years.

Dude is an absolute JOKE of a leader and simply did what the suits in the ATL(GP HQ) and Wichita(KOCH HQ) told him to. His biggest quality was lack of empathy and complete arrogance/indifference to employee loyalty.

By 2016 turned to hiring ex-military guys with supervisory experience but ZERO manufacturing experience to come in and 'run crews like a platoon'(their words).

I had also heard about the arrogant guy they brought in that did nothing but ham handedly piss everyone off. It's classic that he ends up staying here at a Govmt. position.
