The pictures are part of the problem. Replacing them with 4 variables is incorrect. There are three variables. A, B, and C. And there are 2C in the second equation. This isn't rocket science, nor is it an assumption.

I'm not over complicating anything. You just refuse to understand that each picture represents a variable independent to the other variables. All you keep doing is assuming that picture 4 is mathematically related to picture 3 because they used another mug in that picture. If the picture is not the EXACT same, then the variable has no correlation to the other variables.

If you want to get really technical, the answer should be inconclusive, since in math you can never fully assume things unless outright presented to you. As in, we can not assume that one beer mug symbol equals half of the two beer mug symbol

I disagree. The mugs look exactly the same, just two of them. Whether you look at this from a visual perspective or a real life perspective and actually trying to figure out how much the items would really cost, the math works out to 15. Some people just seem to be upset that they were tricked and want to keep arguing their point. I was tricked too. Doesn't mean I'm gonna go full retard.
