I don't agree to disagree. You are wrong. The mugs are even the exact same size. There is no possible argument you can make to justify your position anymore.

Let's call the bottles x, the hamburgers y, and the mugs z.
These then are the first 3 equations:
3x = 30
x + 2y = 20
y + 2z = 9
Solve for the value of a bottle (x) using the first equation:
x = 30 / 3
x= 10
Now that x is known, we can solve for the value of a hamburger (y) using the second equation:
10 + 2y = 20
y = 10 / 2
y = 5
Now that X and y are known, we can solve for the value of a mug (z) using the third equation:
5 + 2z = 9
z = 4 / 2
z = 2
So
x = 10
y = 5
z = 2
And solving the fourth equation using operator precedence (parenthesis added for clarity):
5 + (2 * 10) = 25

That has no real life value to a number so it has to be defined.
So to have 100% certainty, cartoon picture of 1 beer mug has to be defined.
It is logical to assume it is 1. There I agree with you. But it is still ASSUMED

A + A + A = 30

The only way you can solve it is by assuming that 2*X3=X4, yet that equation was not given as part of the original three.
