Oh frick no. About the only thing it's good for is not having to put on hearing protection... you can still hear it though.
And it didn't matter in this case anyway. All the videos show people just hunkering down where they were. It's not like the sound of gunfire caused them to run in the opposite direction saving lives.

It's really sad.
Earlier one of my black friends was asking some questions on facebook about guns used and a few people were responding. One responds that she knew a white guy did it because there was no picture of the guy on the news website she was reading and if it had been a black shooter, his face would be plastered all over the place.
She got bitch slapped pretty good with responses and seemed really upset that people didn't "respect" her views.

Yeah. We were shooting suppressed .22 rounds a few weeks ago and it’s pretty damn quiet.
