I’ve never been to Vegas so pardon my ignorance, but why in the hell are there 40,000 gallon tanks of jet fuel next to the Mandalay resort?? Is the airport parallel with the main Strip or what? That makes no sense to me.

McCarron is directly adjacent to the Southern end of the strip where Mandalay Bay is

TO further add, now any terrorists has an easy idea of shooting at the tank (or any tank for that matter) with an "incendiary round".

Yea I tried to make a funny because he said shells were in the tank, meaning we found where the 2nd shooter was shooting from(IN the tank).

TigerFred I am going to apologize for aggravating you so bad and posting dumb stuff along with the rest of you on here. I will continue on this thread only with conversation about legitimate things that are being discussed. I understand how deeply infuriated everyone is with me but I do want to apologize.. Since this morning after the BS i have been good about what I post and i plan on continuing that trend...But now i can say can we turn this forum back to what it is supposed to be and no longer be a pissing match and BS post and on my behalf i am sorry....

I kid, I guess that’s the name of the airport.
I never would have guessed the airport would be so close to the Strip. That seems odd, but I guess the city could have grown towards the airport.

The cabbies in Vegas are fricking notorious for taking people who don't know better the long way around from the airport to pad their fares because the airport is so close.

Last i had heard, there was valet ticket for the Wife, either the day of, or day before the shootings.

That hasn't been confirmed, and we know she wasn't there, but Paddock did use her ID when signing into the room.
Biggest developments since then:
A) Jesus Campos, the security guard, was shot before paddock fired on the concert, not after.
B) they had previously said the numbers on the note on the table were a range guide for distance and bullet drop calculations. But when asked about it on Monday, the Sheriff now said he is not at liberty to discuss what was on the note.
C) When a reporter asked Lombardo how many cell phones Paddock had, he didn't know the answer and turned to an FBI agent in the room and repeated the question. To which the agent said "I don't believe it prudent we give out that information". Then Lombardo told the reporter "I don't know how many devices he had".
That last one is oddest to me, because it's such an innocuous question. If the guy is a loner and they know nothing about him, why can't they tell us how many cell phones he had? It shouldn't matter one bit.
