FYI. That video of the guy trying to treat victims along with the close up photo of the shooter dead are posted on LiveLeak. The shooter looks to have blown the top/back of his head off. Don't want to link but that's where to find if your interested.

lot of people had knee jerk reactions (rightfully so) after 9/11 and that's how we got the Patriot Act. We gave up a lot of freedoms and privacy out of fear.

Sometimes that trades better than others. Was trying to stay ambiguous there intentionally. I get both sides of it on an issue like gun control.

Like I said, it's looking like he didn't even use the bump stock but rather illegally altered the lowers to make them fully auto.
So do bump stocks not do what bump stocks do?

I honestly know 0 people with a 3D printer. I'm sure you could, but they are hardly that prevelent. And that would be breaking the law and in the event someone were caught with one, they'd deal with that from a legal standpoint.

If they were readily available, these mass murderers would use automatic weapons. I'm not sure how any of us could argue otherwise.

The regulations on those weapons seem to work. Criminals won't be stopped, but they're often going to take the path of least resistance. If we can add some resistance without inhibiting legitimate guns and accessories, I'm for it.

With that logic you support the Travel ban and Building the wall right?

I know. But the 7 star is the highest possible standing with the casino. I just imagine that is reserved for big table players. But I am no expert.

No, you just need a shite ton of points. Easy to do if you're playing a lot of high limit poker machines. There are machines that go up to $25 a credit. Hell, there's one in Indiana that is $500 a credit.

But gun manufacturers need not make it easier for them to obtain one.

In the age of information there is no way to stop someone hell bent on making a gun fire fully auto. There are guides on the internet one can follow as this guy did with the other guns that he ACTUALLY used. Reports are saying he didn't use the gun with the bump stock but rather the modded guns he had.

Banning one item will not make it more difficult.

As upgrayedd said, you can 3D print your own.

I'd argue if Pulse shooter had added a bumpstock (don't remember his weapon of choice) or had the wherewithal to make his own, he could have caused even more damage.

I disagree. The Pulse shooter went through all his ammo, a bumpstock would've just caused him to go through it more quickly and less accurately. Paddock didn't have to worry about walking around with all that ammo b/c he was stationary.

The largest source of illegal fully auto weapons in the US comes from South of the border

That is an absolutely horrific number of fatal head wounds in that video. Makes sense form the height and trajectory but goodness. SMH when the LEO at the end thinks everyone is deceased in that area when clearly they weren't.

I know a few people with them. Cool, but expensive to operate.

Then again, when you're passionate about something, the cost is irrelevant.

You can go to UPS in BR and 3D print something. It's not difficult.

Yeah, we wouldn't want someone to break the law. That always deters people from doing bad stuff like killing 60 people from a 32nd store window.

The ISIS connection isn't necessarily over. GF was Filippino and could easily influence a degenerate gambler in debt. She also had 2 Soc Sec numbers and 2 husbands at the same time.
