To clarify, he was married but divorced long ago. Not necessarily relevant to your point, just saying.

Maybe that's why he sent the money? Maybe they told him he had to shoot people, or else? No idea Fred

Wife/GF, my bad.

My point is that I theorized that the pussy turned him.

I thought the Philippines was mainly Christian but doing a little digging it has become an area where new cells have started to pop up.

The Philippines have long been an area where Islamic extremism has been a problem. Since the mid 90s really.

But if you're going to use the drug example, I'll use one as well. Just because the product is available over the counter to make meth, and I could feasibly do it seeing as how I own my home, does that mean meth should be able to be sold at your local drug store? Of course not. You want meth, you'll have to take the risks of making it, and if you're caught, you go to jail.

Or just buy it from your local drug dealer.

Banning it has done little to prevent it from being widely available.

Once the monster is released, it's hard to contain it.

He actually was married and divorced twice.
His 2nd wife still keeps his last name strangely.

I just find it so strange that we can't really discern how this guy made so much money to have "extensive" real estate investments and be a multi-millionaire property investor. Sure, he could have gambled a bunch and made some money as a postman and accountant, but why has his resume been pretty much blank since the late 1980's? Something doesn't add up.

1. I completely think there is a very good chance Abu Sayef radicalized him through this woman.

2. He could have easily made shittons of money working for Lockheed Martin.

As an auditor in the 80s? If he was making $50k a year it was a lot.

No way she was kidnapped and this was a ransom. The timing doesn't add up. This had to have been months in the making and she hasn't been out of the country that long.....on top of that, she's already been approached by authorities.

Interesting theory. What if the wired money was "ransom money" and that ISIS would kill her if he didn't pay and carry out this act? It doesn't however fit in with their claim as him converting to Islam and being a soldier of IS>S..

Sounds like a Jack Reacher novel

Does the the Suite have two entrances? The double doors that are blown out? Is that 1 entrance to the Suite? Then there's the picture of the "food cart" in front of a single door not blown out. But you can see 2 wires running to the food cart probably for his cameras. But you can also see a wire running on the ground down by the rifle in the double blown doors picture. 2 entrances both with cameras so the pos could see when swat was comming?

If this gets linked back to a Philippines ISIS cell, then you can bet our special operations units will have some job opportunities comin up soon.

I think he made it very clear that they know much more than they're letting on, but it is truly an ongoing investigation, so they're not going to taint the information they get from a person of interest.
No doubt.

It's futile to dig too deep into what and how he's saying things at these briefings.

I just can't help it

Where did you get this from? His brother did say he played video poker but that does not mean that is all he played. he was part of the 7 star club or whatever for Caesers. Doubt you get there with only video machines, it is invitation only.

No, from the hall there is one entrance. The Suite is perpendicular at the end of the hallway.

IIRC, a practice run of plane hijackings was planned by KSM and Ramsey Yousef out of the Philippines
