His 2nd wife still keeps his last name strangely.
not that strange if she has an established business clientele who recognize her with that last name
for example, I dated a girl whose mom kept the last name of her divorced husband because she was a psychologist and everyone knew her as Dr. Jones. Changing it would just be more trouble than it was worth

Where did you get this from? His brother did say he played video poker but that does not mean that is all he played. he was part of the 7 star club or whatever for Caesers. Doubt you get there with only video machines, it is invitation only.
I am just supposing. I have no idea how much of what he played.

Does anyone else think there may be the possibility that he's been financed by Islamic terror networks the past few years with the ultimate goal to carry out an attack like this?
Yeah, because it makes so much sense to commit an act of terrorism and leave everyone trying to connect a bunch of random dots to determine the reason. Terrorists leave some obvious reason for the act behind, otherwise, it is a complete fail at terrorism. Too much thought went into this just to forget to make clear who/what we should be terrified of. So far just a nut that wanted to go out in a blaze of perceived "glory" but not for some bigger "cause".

Is there any idea how many rounds he fired?
If this whole thing went on for 72 mins, how many times did actually go to a window and fire out of it?
Was he shooting off and on the entire time?

Just wait. There will be clear evidence, I believe.
The sherriff said he was confident they'd have a motive (which means they already have a damned good idea).

Banning it has done little to prevent it from being widely available. Once the monster is released, it's hard to contain it.
Right now you can order a bump stock and have it at your door step in 2 days. I guess I fail to see how banning a bump stock infringes on the rights of gun owners, and it makes it more difficult for someone to use one in a manner such as this.
I get the slippery slope argument and what not, but outside of that, I fail to see the problem.
I'm willing to change my mind though, I just haven't seen someone lay out a reason other than a slipper slope.

Serious question. Why are there pictures of 2 different doors? Per the diagram does that adjoining room have a single door entrance? To the right before you get the double doors at end of corridor?

All the shooting lasted only about 10 minutes. It took them over an hour to find him. Who knows what he was doing after he stopped shooting.

I’m definitely not anti gun. I own several. But if full auto guns are illegal or require a special license then a product that basically makes a semi auto gun operate full auto should also be illegal.

Video poker is one of the best and fastest way to run up your theoretical and comp dollars/points. You can get to that level with high denomination video poker.

Don't ISIS people typically let everyone know they're in love with Baghdadi and Allah as they're doing stuff?

I know. But the 7 star is the highest possible standing with the casino. I just imagine that is reserved for big table players. But I am no expert.

Because apparently if you are crafty you can make one yourself.
With that argument, grenades should be legal for purchase because anyone can just make an IED.

But the thing is it does not mechanically alter the weapon to fire more than once per pull of the trigger. The recoil allows it to slam your finger a few hundred times a minute. The trigger is still resetting every shot.

I never believed that the GF had nothing to do with this. She at least knew what he was up to.

I mean I know it happens. I will always find it strange though. I was not implying anything by it.
Just FYI they divorced 27 years ago so doubt she knows anything at all about this.

I honestly don't care if they ban them. Never used one, never will.
All I'm saying is banning them is futile.
It's easy to make one and if someone is willing to go out and kill 59 people, the last thing they're worried about is following the law.
Like I said, ban it. Doesn't matter to me. But it's going to do nothing to prevent someone from doing the same exact thing with a home grown version of it.

I understand that and I’m sure accuracy goes to almost nothing. I just wouldn’t lose any sleep if bump stocks were illegal.

Can you maybe say that instead of stating it as fact as you did?
