It would only be significant if he had never shot the weapon in the configuration. A group of 20,000 people is a huge target.

According to the Sheriff last night during his press conference the Security guard was shot in the leg through the door.

Honestly shocked that picture has already leaked.
I think even the pic of the Boston bomber after getting run over took over 2 days to come out.

That's just it. The information the media usually puts out "relatively soon" is speculation from social media presence, not official statements from investigative authorities.
This guy didn't have social media presence, so they have nothing to report on. And since actually investigative journalism is basically dead they're just recycling talking points rather than trying to actually get information or explain the situation. It's actually quite a sickening display of the complete incompetence of the "journalists" on the major networks.

i googled this info
all that was returned to me was that Paddock shot through his door and hit a security guard in the leg.

I don't expect the police to release anything, but its still mind blowing the world of the internet and media has not found more on this guy. There's almost nothing, as said less than 5 pictures on a 64 year old is pretty incredible.
I mean he lived in a neighborhood, had multiple businesses, etc. He did a hell of a job staying in the dark, which seems most likely on purpose at this point.

They had reports of gunfire on 29, so SWAT had to check on those reports. It was probably people hearing the shots from above. If you look at the pictures of the hotel there aren't any windows broken on 29, so no one was shooting at the crowd from 29.

Everyone should wait for the facts and let the investigation conclude before making conclusions.
