What a name. I believe this is her.
Anyways, I wish these people would just take themselves out without harming others if there are no other options in their minds.
I would have preferred someone else taken him out, but at least it's over and these people don't have to worry about him being a threat anymore.
I also never bought into all the ideas that he had some sort of elaborate plan to escape and he was possibly in another state. I really don't think he expected to get away from the scenes without a police confrontation. Then again he may not have even thought that far ahead.
It was fascinating to me to see so many people come up with really elaborate escape plans. And then it ended up being the most predictable ending. I'm not disappointed, because at least it's over and they found him. It would be much worse if they never found him.

Will be interesting to see how he got ahold of that AR. Straw purchase or he bought it - and miraculously cleared background check.

Good question. Maybe owned it previously? Maybe stolen? Most of my firearms were bought 20 plus years ago and certainly don’t reflect my current values. They were pre-children and what not

I’ll be so happy if someone took him out

Man I’m torn here. I’m glad he’s dead but a piece of me wishes he would spend years of torture in the penal system. Then I remember the penal system isn’t torture to some. Justice would be a stoning in the square by those who were affected. IMO we don’t have a gun problem, we have a punishment problem. I’ll catch flack for that, but it’s what I think

He could have just hid in the attic.

Anyone remember what that address was?

People ITT will point to the failure of “yellow flag” laws while simultaneously arguing against measures that would encourage and strengthen said laws.
Yellow flag laws, which existed in Maine, would absolutely have prevented this had they been enforced. Stigma against enforcing is why 18 are dead. No one will want to own this fact but it is reality. Existing laws on the books could have prevented this but no one enforced it because of a combination of bystander-syndrome and “muh rights”.

Probably had some genuis getaway plan having to do with sending the cops on a wild goose chase after the boat while he went the other way until he ran into some rando gangster who robbed and then killed him and threw his body in the dumpster.
Oh well, probably not but that'd be the biggest dose of karma ever.
