I've been to that area of Germany. Very nice. Quaint villages in that area. Enjoyable times walking to bars and then back to your motel

Now use the median average rather than the mean. US comes out #1 while Euro countries avg out to 0. Norway is a perfect example of why the mean average skews the numbers.

Those and these current incidents prove why taking all guns away is not safer in these situations. The high body counts are the result of people being defenseless, including their average police officers.

If you want to go with straight per capita rates, South America and Africa blow us away.

I'd say they're a failure the first time a woman is beaten or raped without the option to defend herself.
