This just isn’t true your argument is just nothing but fear mongering. We have evidence from other similar countries that gun regulation can work and cut down on massacres like this while also not leading to some hypothetical dictatorship.
What other countries are similar to the US with this issue? I am not arguing, but genuinely asking for examples.

It's CNN
I have to assume that 30 number includes a lot of people receiving treatment for minor stuff, but I suppose we'll see.
CNN strikes me as likely to inflate figures if possible.
WSB saying 4 dead 3 injured.

Nobody is saying ban all guns but better regulation is absolutely needed. Other first world nations don't deal with this shite. We have certain limitations on the first amendment when it comes to free speech why some of us have to drag our feet on the second amendment is mind boggling.
Everything that is wrong with the well- intentioned Government As Daddy is in this paragraph. The fallacy that regulations curtail behavior, especially illegal behavior is so ridiculously flawed that all I can do is roll my eyes. We aren’t “ other first world countries “ we are the United States of America and we have the second amendment. When I lived in Japan my boss was in a boat hunting club and owned shotguns. They don’t have shootings because they aren’t riddled with sociopaths and the mentally ill and a certain violent demographic that I will not mention.
And if your goal is ZERO shootings I can tell you who and how that’s been achieved. Try North Korea. You might note that where Individual Liberty is absent so is gun violence. Where Individual Liberty thrives, so do the excesses of Liberty, including violence. You should decide if you want Liberty or security and if necessary, move to enjoy the superior security police states offer.

I don't want to wildly speculate, but 3 or so with significant injuries and another 25 or so who got checked out by first responders becoming "30 injured" per CNN wouldn't be shocking.

what do you propose?
You can't legislate a human not wanting to kill another human.
I get how not have easy access to a gun makes it harder and less likely to kill someone.
Problem is making certain types of guns illegal won't make them go away. They'll just be more expensive. Turning over your rights to the government to own a firearm is a slippery slope. Once you give them the right to take away one thing, it'll be easier for them to take away something else.

LETS MAKE MURDER MORE ILLEGAL. Take your gun control a$$ and kick rocks.

Hand guns by far kill more Americans than any other type of gun. But all your hear about are AR15's. That's how I know the left is insincere about their intentions.
Without guns, there will be more stabbing deaths...vehicles running over people, pressure cooker bombings, etc.
People bent on killing others will find a way.
So I think we have deeper issues to address. Mental health is not being treated correctly in this country.

maybe we should make murdering people illegal,,, that will stop it.
Oh wait,,, criminals don't follow laws (including gun bans).

Fix mental health and fix broken homes. Are you prepared for that?

Well said. Mental health and idiots are the problem.

100% I never will understand their obsession with banning AR-15s .

It seems like we celebrate mental illness and broken homes instead of the opposite. Mass shootings didn't happen as often when families were stronger.

We have them. They're now just privatized, for-profit institutions that are mostly out of reach for the people who need them most.

The idea that major voices on gun control want total confiscation is pure propaganda
And there it is, just pure lying at this point. This is why even trying to debate with anti gun types is futile.

But sure posture about how stubborn your are on one single amendment while we see yet incident where the blood of children gets shed in our schools again
If modifying the first amendment allowed the government greater power to remove kids who need medication/counseling to suppress violent tendencies from their parents and warehouse them in mental institutions, you would have a point.

Go back and find the watershed moment when kids killing kids at school became a thing.
I for one went to both Public and Private high schools and nearly every truck had a hunting rifle in plain view hanging in the rear window. Doors most likely not locked and never had a single “Gun” incident.
Somewhere along the way, something has programmed these kids to do these things.
I don’t mean an actual “program”, but certainly some type of conditioning has occurred.
Guns only become animated for either good or evil. People doing evil are to blame.
