No idea, but the reality is that local news is stretched really thin so I wouldn't be surprised if 11alive just has really limited on the ground resources.

"then we hid in a closet. While I was in there, a kid showed me a vid of a dead teacher literally 3 mins after it happened."

Man, that's going to scar some kids for life. Sucks.

Someone just opened fire on the high school and kids still ensure video is taken.

WSB TV was reporting one or more victims transported to Grady Hospital (downtown Atlanta). Grady is the region's level 1 trauma center, so some pretty serious injuries if true.

“We need to ban assault weapons! They’re killing people”

*meanwhile one of the worst vehicular crashes in recent years had just occurred in Mississippi that killed 7 people

Gun-Grabbers: oh, b-b-b-but cars are not designed to kill people like guns are!

So this is either going to be:

Mass random shooter that got stopped by hero teachers

Or

Piece of shite student that pulled a gun out of anger on the teachers that pissed him off

Seems like a pretty solid counter, one is designed for travel the other’s sole purpose is designed to kill but I’m sure the politicians who receive money from gun lobbyist will tell us not to worry about it

Sure, it would be nice to live in a world without tools meant to kill people. But we don't and guns exist.

Do you trust the government? I doubt it, so why would you turn over your right to own guns to an entity you don't trust? Because that's what banning guns does. It doesn't make them go away. It just puts them in the hands of people who don't have your best interest at heart.

I understand and mostly agree with what you're saying, but potential evidence might be useful down the road.

It's not like anyone can put down their phone and take out the shooter; when you've got nothing else you can do, taking pictures is at least something.

Nobody is saying ban all guns but better regulation is absolutely needed. Other first world nations don't deal with this shite. We have certain limitations on the first amendment when it comes to free speech why some of us have to drag our feet on the second amendment is mind boggling.
