“Better regulation” is not the answer. The United States doesn’t need more gun laws when the only people following these laws are the law-abiding citizens!
Any conversation about "better regulation" MUST start with sealing the border to Mexico. If you don't do that, then there will be a free flow of unregulated guns into the US where they will be sold almost exclusively to criminal elements.
BTW, guns are effectively outlawed in Mexico, which is why cartels rule the country. They are the only ones with guns, and they have plenty of them.
No one who wants "common sense gun laws" is willing to have this part of the conversation, because they don't really want common sense laws. They want confiscation, which puts the US on the road to becoming Once-Great Britain and its outright suppression of free speech, except with vastly more illegal immigrants who DGAF about laws.

This is why US should have wayyyy stricter gun laws. You're an idiot if you don't see the statistics of the US mass shootings vs other countries. I'm Conservative and still think that gun laws should be wayyy stricter and guns way less prevalent. I agree with Conservatives on most, but not guns with what the data shows.

Daily Mail, link above, has a story from someone who sat next to him in Algebra class.
He got up and left the class, no bathroom pass was requested, came back door, was closed someone got up to let him in, saw the gun, and didn't open the door. Door next was open, then the class heard the gunshots nearby.
