1. No and no
2. See 1
3. Yes and no
4. I don’t know, sounds shady.
5. If they’re hiding anything from you, that should raise a red flag that shenanigans are afoot.

I have it b/c my kids and nieces/nephews use it. Had a previous GF that had it.
It's not my preferred platform for a # of reasons, but it's not terrible.

Judging by what I recently learned, it's fairly rare for someone 40+ to have it.

Maybe when it started but not anymore. I'm sure it's the main feature for alot of users but certainly not all. Teens want to be where there friends are and some may be there for it but it doesnt mean thats the sole purpose IMO.

I mean shite, there are multiple people here saying they have it so they can easily chat with their kids. So, either they are all lying OR it's just not the SOLE purpose anymore.

It doesn't shock me, it's meant for messages to go away. So...

If I'm not hiding something just a regular text should be fine, IMO.

If someone is going to cheat they're going to cheat. Snapchat or not.

My wife and I use it a bunch to send pics and videos of the baby & dog. It's easy and effective

Right? And then the reasoning. I forgot the password for one so I had to create another one. BUT, on the one account I saw, the other is friended. So clearly had access at the same time!

And a third, deleted account.

I know this is fricked. Just trying to get a sense of people's opinions here to help ward off the gaslighting.

Snapchat is only useful for being shady. Start hiding money and courting lawyers

Right. For messages to family text is more than sufficient.

In my opinion there is no reason for a married person to have the app at all. Everything you can do within the app can be conducted outside of the app. If you have something to hide you use the app.

I would be concerned if my wife had it at all much less multiple accounts.

ETA: either way if they are going to cheat, they will anyway. Snapchat, Instagram messages, whatever. Where there is a will there is a way.

I have seen a wife using words with friends to message guys. I have seen a wife leave the house every morning, download Snapchat, sign in, then delete the app again on the way home. There isn't much that will stop a motivated cheater.

Married over 30 years. I don't have any social media (some of you think tigerdroppings is, ok whatever) at all. She has Facebook/Instagram.

To me, all of that is a time waster and easy path to stupidity. I don't have a need for it.

If your reason as an adult to have snapchat is to communicate with your tween/teen kids, you need to be a better parent. Standard text messaging works fine.

I don't think anyone grown adult needs a Snapchat
It has it's place IMO. It definitely has a purpose in the 'dating' world. Also have a group chat on there with golfing buddies and it's always hyper active on the weekends when we aren't playing together or we are making one of us get fomo seeing our videos.

To the OP, 4 and 5 are huge red flags my guy. Check the snap score of the 'extra account' because "I forgot the password for the other one" or whatever the reason was. If that was not the account you were interacting with and it has a high score....someone was getting pics and videos.

And I'll add this. There is a reason I NEVER delete a text message from anyone (unless it's the droves of political spam I'm getting these days.) My wife thinks it's ridiculous and just clogs up space on my phone. But I (and she, if she wanted to), can go back almost 10 years and see strings of conversations with me, my family and my few friends.

Yes, sending or receiving dick pics.

Most people use several different forms of digital communications.

Also, law enforcement can always recover snaps (or anything else) through digital forensics, should the need arise.

1. Yes, Yes

2. Send pics and sarcastic comments about some of the shite we encounter throughout the day

3. Yes, Yes

4. Multiple accounts may be questionable

5. I would certainly have questions.

Snapchat is fine but grown folks who still use it as their preferred means of communication are so weird

But there is zero reason for anyone to have multiple accounts

3) Childless
4)No, multiple accounts is weird
5)I'd be pissed

There is zero reason for a grown adult to have a snapchat. It is very well known as snapcheat*. Pictures and chats delete after 24 hours. She is cheating man.

Dang right i would.

How else you gonna send unsolicited butthole pics to random chicks?

Dick pics are overrated. You want to garuntee a response, hit them with a solid butthole pic.
