While a bit odd, neither cars are really cars that people buy out of passion for cars. To some of us it's just a utility like a toaster or sewing machine. I supose if my wife (no pics) and I had his-and-hers toasters, they would probably be the same model.

We don’t really have our own cars except that my wife won’t (sorta “can’t”) drive my truck. If we are out separately I take the truck or old-assed car.
I have a sinister plan to transform this. I’ve had my eye on a ‘98 7.3L power stroke e250 passenger van w Quigley 4*4/lift, high roof and some nice off road mods. I get that as my “mobile office/stealth work hotel,” and she gets the Rivian R1S lease to haul around kids, grab her sandwich-making materials and bang the pool boy.
