I have both a neighbor and a boss who own/drive the same (multiple) vehicles for themselves and their wives. One is a set of white Navigators and the other is a set of white MDX's... I don't have a true judgement... just find it a bit odd.

Does anyone on this board do this? Why?

Unless it’s a status thing, “go with what you know” isn’t the worst approach in the world.

Same dealership, same service schedule (probably), same parts, you pretty much know what to expect.

Why do you care? Are you not a grown man occupied with your own life’s concerns?

Closest is that both my parents and my in-laws drive pickup trucks, with wives having the older models.

My niece and her husband used to drive Ford Explorers that were both black. I always thought it was funny.

If you do the research and have similar day to day needs…

Likely moving same size family, etc…. And decide that one is the best reliability and value, it’s not strange.

That said I totally get complimentary options that fill different needs too

My parents both drive Lexus SUVs, but different models.

If you find a good car that you both like, and doesn’t result in any limitations, why not?
