re: Basketball: LSU 94, Arkansas 88 | Final/OT | TIGERS WIN!!! - Negatiger1986
Why can't we get the ball to Naz down low the way they are consistently going to Gafford?...

re: WTI oil price forecast - Negatiger1986
[link=(https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/energy/crude-oil/west-texas-intermediate-wti-crude-oil-calendar-swap-futures_quotes_globex.html)]CME Group[/link] This should be directionally correct. The futures on WTI are pretty flat at $50-52....

re: Tips for chipping on soggy turf? - Negatiger1986
Play it in the back of your stance focus on contact
This is intuitive to me as well and I think I tend to play the ball back when I am uncomfortable over a chip/pitch. But in light of the discussion about bounce, I think playing it back creates more forward shaft angle and effectiv...

re: Tips for chipping on soggy turf? - Negatiger1986
So I always thought that bounce was for old guys and hacks who needed help getting the ball up in the air. After reading a little bit about it, I take a pretty steep approach h and would probably benefit from more bounce....

re: Tips for chipping on soggy turf? - Negatiger1986
This actually worked pretty well on the course today. Didn't hit any great chips but avoided disaster. Probably so anxious to see whether or not I've skulled it over the green that I've just been picking my eyes up....

Tips for chipping on soggy turf? - Negatiger1986
Short game has come off the rails recently because the soggy turf has got me between the ears. Seems like I either chunk it or hit it thin out of fear of chunking it. Any drills or swing thoughts that help you guys?...

re: Vanguard or Fidelity - Negatiger1986
I use Merrill Edge and am surprised they don't get any love on this board. I switched from Scottrade at the beginning of the year and have been happy. Their preferred rewards program is pretty good with perks kicking in at $20k invested and maxing out at $150K invested across all acounts. At the top...

re: Does the winner of UF vs. UGA jump LSU in polls? - Negatiger1986
You might say that LSU has a higher quality loss on the road at FL than FL's home loss to Kentucky. Agree the Miami and AU wins aren't looking as strong but are still higher quality wins than Vandy and UT....

re: Tax loss harvesting by rotating ETFs - Negatiger1986
Great advice, thanks. Looks like there are 9 ETFs that focus on the US Basic Materials sector and surprisingly NONE of them track the same index. Perhaps that's not a coincidence - they don't want to exclude TLHers from buying their ETF because it tracked the same index as a previous holding. Any...

re: Tax loss harvesting by rotating ETFs - Negatiger1986
The whole idea is to minimize my short term tax bill. Specifically, I am looking at my holdings in Vanguard's Materials ETF, VAW. It is comprised of reputable large cap companies like Dow DuPont, Praxair, and Shermin Williams. This thing has gotten hammered 15-20% over the last couple of weeks and h...

Tax loss harvesting by rotating ETFs - Negatiger1986
There are a lot of ETFs offered by Vanguard, iShares, etc that are designed to track the same index and are composed of basically the same blend of stocks. At a time like this when stocks are down, would it make sense to sell a Vanguard ETF and buy the equivalent iShares ETF to harvest the loss whil...

FS: 4 Ms State Tickets in Section 424 Row 4 - Negatiger1986
These are my family's season tickets, cant make Ms State in the midst of Georgia and Bama. Great seats with seatbacks. No reserve on the auction, hope these end up in the hands of some tiger fans. https://www.ebay.com/itm/183489874885...

re: Frat Tailgating Update - Negatiger1986
I was expecting this to show how they trashed the place. The pics you show seem relatively tame to me. I am not sure I understand your purpose - that you have lost "your" traditional tailgating spot? No problem, just pay $1500 per weekend for one of those spots at "The Oaks" near CEBA....

re: MAGEE injury Is a much bigger issue Than the Chaisson injury. - Negatiger1986
I watched O's pressed yesterday and when he was asked about Magee it kinda just seemed like he was making up an answer. First he needed clarification on what player the media asked about, then he simply said "he's out", and then when asked again he seemed to pull "2-3 weeks" out of thin air. Maybe t...

re: Tiger Seatback? Worth it? - Negatiger1986
The benefit of the seatbacks is that it preserves the width of your seat. It takes the ambiguity out of where your seat starts and ends and prevents the guy next to you from taking up his seat and half of yours....

re: Any tool to add up etf holdings equity/shares in individual stocks? - Negatiger1986
My accounts are with Merril Edge and they have a "portfolio analysis" tool that does what you're asking - breaks down your etf holdings by sector and also lists your total ownership of every stock whether individual or rolled into an ETF. Anyway, not exactly the answer you're looking (unless you hap...

re: Has anyone flown out of CA or CO with marijuana products? - Negatiger1986

re: Golf CC Membership Houston - Negatiger1986
It depends on what is important to you. Are you under 35? If so you'd be eligible for Jr memberships at many clubs around town. If you have a family, perhaps the waterpark-type amenities at Kingwood would be worth the extra mileage. I also live just west of downtown and Westwood, Braeburn, Riverbend...
