And would you have changed anything?

The fiance' (No pics) and I can't decide between a 300+ attendee wedding here at home or a small get-a-way wedding with 20-30 people. What did you do?

We had @ 70-80 I think. Was still bigger than we wanted. We wanted to do a destination wedding with about 15-20 family and friends in the carribean. Caved to family pressure. We're gonna renew our vows in 2016 for our 10 year in a destination ceremony like we wanted to do to begin with.

my sister had 450, it sucked, way too many people

I had about 150, thought it was great. I'd say anywhere from 75-175 is a good number

We started with the idea of a very small wedding. Ended up with around 400 people.

I wouldn't have changed anything. I didn't pay for it and it wasn't about me.

200-250ish attendees at home. Weddings aren't just about you, it's a celebration for everyone. Everyone who helped both of you to get to this point in your lives and to show everyone what a good relationship looks like.

If you're just getting married cause "it's about that time" or "we've been together long enough" then eloping is probably better.

This is what we're doing. Glad I'm not paying for it.

I got married at the courthouse. So me, my wife, the lady reading the whatever stuff, and the witness.

Sent 100 invitations and plus ones... about half showed up so it was about 100 people in attendance.

I would have had a band instead of a dj and classed it up a little.

you might want to ask "what size weddings did you have?"

Well those are def 2 opposite ends of the spectrum.

Some people love big weddings, some prefer smaller, more intimate ones. Really just about personal preference and what kind of budget you have to work with.

We had like 40-50 max. Just family and close friends. It was great, but my wife and I don't really like to have a lot of attention.

5-6 people at chapel in Vegas.

Don't regret it one bit. I honestly don't think I could even come up with 75+ people to invite.

300 people

Wouldn't have changed a thing; amazing wedding. Had to cut out about 75-80 people from the invitee list b/c we didn't want any more than 300 there.
