That’s stupid - maybe the man cheated and she wants to renew after she forgave him.

I had a friend do this and I figured one of them had been cheating. I didn’t really care because there was an open bar afterwards.

Maybe their first wedding was a Justice of the peace or just them at the courthouse?

That it was with this goon that doesnt even like them and in New Year’s Eve suggests it may not have been the most intimate affair the first time

So person A vows to be faithful and cheats.

So you think the solution is for person A to vow again?

Are they doing this at a church?

If their original ceremony was at the courthouse, maybe they now have enough $ for the wedding they always wanted.

82 year old MIL loves with us. Doesn’t need round the clock care but definitely can’t leave her overnight/multiple days by herself. My daughter is going to come stay at our house and keep eye on her while we are gone. Wife didn’t want to impose on her too much so we are only doing a 3 day weekend kind of thing. Live in Bossier City so Arkansas makes for a convenient long weekend trip.

If it makes you feel better, we have a 10 day trip to Alaska planned for next year. It’s one of my wife’s bucket list trips and we originally planned on doing it for our 30th anniversary until we had to move the MIL in with us. My wife’s sister lives in another state but is retiring this year. So
Next year when we go she is going to come stay the whole week to watch her mom.

Vows don’t need renewal. A vow is for life.

We will be renewing our vows at the little white wedding chapel soon. We are going back to Vegas to watch the opening game. It’s been 20 years since we got hitched there.

So. We are going back. We have lots of other things planned but we both wanted this part.
