1. About Gender Identity:
Lopez replied. "Look, I'm never one to tell anyone how to parent their kids obviously and I think if you come from a place of love, you really can't go wrong. But at the same time, my God, if you're 3 years old and you're saying you're feeling a certain way or you think you're a boy or a girl or whatever the case may be, I just think it's dangerous as a parent to make this determination then, well, okay, then you're going to a boy or a girl, whatever the case may be ... It's sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on."
2. About #believeAllWomen:
During the interview, Lopez also labeled social media campaigns like #MeToo and #BelieveWomen as dangerous, "because people lie—and sometimes those people are women."
"God forbid you have a son out there and a girl may have felt a certain way about a situation — dismissed, hurt, whatever—and is feeling vengeful," he told Owens, "and [she] just decides to tell a certain story that's not even exactly true, and come back and hurt that individual."
All he is saying is that preschool kids can change their minds and that women could lie about a relationship.
Is that REALLY controversial and offensive?

In clown culture it sure is!
In the world of facts, however, he is absolutely correct.

I don't know who he is, but he's right. Parents who make that determination for children should be brought up on child abuse charges.

Not controversial at all.
Not sure why anyone would think that is

He's right on both.

I agree with Slater.

Was there anything better than waking up on a school morning and having pee wees playhouse then saved by the bell back to back on TBS?

One thing I will add:
He prefaced his statements with very loving words and framed it in the form of a discussion that could be productive.
But the larger community is reacting with “he is transphobic and misogynistic and dead to me” comments.

He’s right
I still can’t believe he cheated on Ali Landry in her prime. He threw this away.

He’s gonna hear it from Jessie. Mama is not going to be happy!

Wasn't he accused of rape during his Saved By The Bell days?
Makes sense he would speak out against #MeToo and #BelieveWomen

I believe his comments are in regards to Charlize Theron raising her daughter as a son or vice versa.
Geaux judge may have been on to something with that crazy bitch.

Which larger community? I've never met a person in my life that would disagree with what he said. This sounds like social media virtue signalling.

Not to rational people.
