Rather than eating crayons, they are shooting them now.

Well, they are part of the Navy...

Regardless of your stance on tGays, no government entity should be promoting this.

I would tell any straight, white, conservative male to stay the frick away from the military of the United States of America.
Thank God I got out of the USMC when I did.

As a former Marine, how would you rate the fighting ability of our current military?

Side affects of a rainbow bullet wound:
1. Vocabulary changes; using the words “Super” or “Fabulous”
2. Hot flashes
3. Sudden enjoyment of the music of Cher or Madonna

I (SNCO AF) deployed with marines in 2016. According to our young troops, Marines have much fondness of butt sex. Apparently it was pretty common to find marines hooking up at night in bunkers. We had one openly gay dude in our unit, he said he had a ton of sex with the jarheads, he called it gay spring break.

Oh that’s eye-contact gay right there

Same, got out in 2020 and never looked back.

That’s actually pretty awesome of them. I bet it’s still difficult to be gay in the military, though. Lot of ignoramuses, still.

How humiliating. China won’t be inclusive as the PLA kicks our asses.

TLDR, the military is still pretty lethal, but absolutely nowhere near what it should be. Too much fat both literally and figuratively. Too left, too soft on the men. Too many women (shouldn't have women in the military in the first place). Too queer. Basically the USM is focused entirely too much on the wrong things and not on the correct things. That is training the MEN to be the baddest fricking killing machines out there.
I think your basic Marine rifle unit is still the most lethal fighting force in the world. Mainly because it is made up primarily of 18-25 year old hard-charging, dick-stomping men. They may have began allowing women in the infantry, but I don't believe we're seeing a huge effect on the USMC's rifle units. Women and queers don't want to be in the infantry, it's biological nature for them to not want to. So, as of yet, it's still pretty fricking effective.
The biggest issue in the military when I was in up through today, other than the leftist regressive bullshite that is absolutely going to destroy the military, is that all the junior/senior enlisted guys and junior officers worth a frick that have combat experience are leaving in the masses. Those are the two biggest issues with the military today.
The rest of the military is in much worse shape than the USMC however. The Navy simply does not get trained, they're all fat bodies, and are by far the most left.
I can't really speak to the Air Force as I did not have much time around them to speak one way or the other. It's just a massive POG organization and runs like one.
The Army is well, it's the Army. They do what they do really well. And there's some hard charging units in the Army to be sure. From everything I've seen about it though is it's pretty bloated. But I can't really speak to it as well as some. I didn't do much cross training with either the Army or Air Force.
Another of the biggest issues in all branches is there is a severe leadership deficiency at the top of each branch that will do terribly should we find ourselves in a real war again. The men at the top are not combat leaders, they're paper pushers.
The military really isn't in that great of shape. But that doesn't mean that it can't go out and be effective/win wars still.

Same here. I just retired after 31 years because I no longer trusted leadership nor the government and I didn't want to lose my pension over some stupid bullshite. The military is not what it used to be.
