But you also have to think, even without the FSU game, all SEC teams have played a harder schedule than any other conference. I don't think SEC falls into the category as a TCU or Oregon with out of conference games. Championship teams do win those games though: Clemson/Auburn 2016 Alaba...

Over the past 2 years only 12/32 teams that have played a week 0 game have won the following week. A week 0 game has almost no impact on the following week of play. Plus you can't just schedule one out of the blue....
