Mardi gras throw beads

Hello everyone! So I'm riding for the 1st time this year on the uptown route. I'm thinking of going with 10-12 Gross... will that be enough? I also have about 120 stuffed animals, 100 cups, 80 footballs, and will buy specialty beads soon. Thanks in advance.

That should be enough. Don't make the rookie mistake and be too liberal with the throws. I see it every year, rookie riders tossing all their throws within the first mile.
Eta: don't wast your money on the specialty beads. You will quickly realize that the crowd will slap away most beads. They want the novelty items like plush toys and shite.

When I rode in Houma I had 200 gross if 7-33 beads, 10 garbage bags of stuffed animals and roughly 100 footballs not counting my long beads on the pegs
