I've always felt like he is full of shite. I hate to say that, but it's just the impression I get from him.

I think some of the Chris Kyle tall tales, coupled with the fact so many Navy seals are all over the public, alot of people are taking some of what they say with a grain of salt

"A navy seal makes a kill and writes a book, Delta force makes a kill and takes a nap"

I've watched a bunch of his interviews and his long motivational speeches to the public, etc. And he just doesn't seem like he is telling the truth about alot of stuff and does it for the notarity.

Fair enough.

FWIW I haven’t downvoted either comment.

Nah. Some of those dudes are self-promoting bullshite artists to some extent. I haven't ever heard him say anything of that nature. At the worst (in some peoples eyes), he has ruffled some feathers by being non-diplomatic and speaking his mind. I applaud him for that very thing.

You are rather flippant about a seal...

Grew up on the same road as him. Met him once right after he got back from overseas when his gf at the time swerved in the rain to miss a deer and ran thru our fence. Him and his brothers came and fixed it the next day. Nice guy

Somewhat off topic, the book had numerous significant editing and/or logic errors that a high school newspaper editor would've/should've caught, but a somehow a professional editor missed. The inaccuracies made the book less credible in my opinion.

There are numerous other examples, but his description/memories of watching the sun rise over the horizon during early morning seal workouts on the WEST coast were hard to believe, unless the sun decided to rise in reverse on the days he recalled.

He's on some type of speed. Kept repeating himself over and over.

The sun still rises when you're on the west coast.

You seemed to be confused on what a horizon is though

Hence his comment
