Classic.

quote:

Mandy Moore is taking Amazon to task after one of the company's drivers delivered a package to the home of the star's in-laws, which was burned to the ground in the Los Angeles wildfires.

On Tuesday, the actress jumped on her Instagram Stories and posted a pic of the charred remains of her in-law's Pasadena house. The photo contained a brown box -- wrapped in what appears to be an Amazon label -- resting in front of the decimated property.

In the caption, Mandy -- clearly shocked -- didn't hold back her contempt, saying, “Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh.”

Mandy certainly got Amazon's attention ... a company spokesperson issued a statement ... "We’ve reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for this and to ask for more information from her in-laws so we're better able investigate what happened here."

I don’t know how this is Amazon’s fault to be honest. How are they supposed to know the people did not want it delivered there?

What kind of dumbass orders something and has it shipped to a burned down house. How is this Amazons fault. The person ordering fricked up.

Don't order shite addressed to the residence that's no longer in existence.

Or, don’t use an address that’s no longer there when ordering packages.

If that is the address that it was supposed to be shipped to then there is no problem with it.

Seems like it’s the parents fault for more than likely not changing the shipping address but I’m going to agree with Mandy Moore here.

Amazon driver should’ve kept it in the truck and marked it down as undeliverable. Or at least call it in and figure out what to do. With rampant looters and huge trucks cleaning that area up, wasn’t a good idea to leave the package in my view.

She started a GFM for her in-law's house rebuild despite being worth millions. She's not the brightest person

Reminds me of the time I spent Christmas at my in-laws, and had Amazon ship a few last minute presents to their house.

A few weeks later I ordered some adult toys, and my account still had the in-laws address as the default shipping address.

My mother in-law opened the packages, and had a lot of questions. I let my wife deal with her confused and concerned mother.

Could’ve been a subscription item they forgot to cancel in light of their circumstances.

The driver did technically deliver the package.

Just cause the bitch burned down doesn’t mean that everyone needs to get all crazy about this.

There was no option to chose from in case of entire neighborhoods burned down
