I'm not sure who I find more annoying. Those that claim things are always about race or those that claim things are never about race.

False imprisonments doesn’t require contact. If you are in a room and lock the door with you inside, I've committed false imprisonment.
Plus, “first contact” in this case is irrelevant as all the evidence shows the McMichaels to be the aggressors in the situation.

Georgia statute on False Imprisonment

(a) A person commits the offense of false imprisonment when, in violation of the personal liberty of another, he arrests, confines, or detains such person without legal authority.
(b) A person convicted of the offense of false imprisonment shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one nor more than ten years.
(c) Any person convicted under this Code section wherein the victim is not the child of the defendant and the victim is less than 14 years of age shall, in addition, be subject to the sentencing and punishment provisions of Code Section 17-10-6.2 .
Don’t have to physically touch someone to detain them, baw. They said themselves in their statements they were attempting to commit a citizen’s arrest.

The first time I remember hearing about felony murder was when that 16-17 yr old killed like 5 burglars with an AR and the female getaway driver was charged with it. It was in Kentucky or Missouri or somewhere like that.
I just didn't realize the guy filming had any connection to the shooters.
