MONROE, La. - (1/29/2018) A West Monroe man is facing shoplifting and bribery charges after police say he tried to steal a $20 brisket from the Super 1 Foods on Louisville Avenue.
According to online arrest records, on January 22, 2019, 33-year-old Zachary Shamburger was confronted by the manager at Super 1 Foods on Louisville Avenue. Monroe Police say Shamburger had a brisket worth $20.92 was concealed in his pants.
Officers say Shamburger admitted to the crime, and he was charged with shoplifting.
Police say on the way to OCC and after being mirandized, they say Shamburger offered the officer money if he would just write him a ticket instead of taking him to jail. Shamburger is now also facing bribery charges.

Very confused about life and people...but...me?well....I'm just a soul who's intentions are good....oh Lord!please don't let me be misunderstood
Never will god leave us....never will he forsake...even when this life has left us shaken like a quake...he's always there to hear us out through each n everything y prayer....hell send us signs throughout our lives to let us know he's there.....we may not get all that we want...but we sure get what we need.....each life he longs to set on track if we would just take heed..when the sign says thank stop...we say go...the sign reads yield...we say hell no... So how can anyone expect for life to turn out right?when u walk in blindness...hell be your site....as u tread through darkness....hell be a your light...he blesses the day...keeps u safe in the night ...so just hold on..cuz everything is alright

I get accused of stealing a brisket once a week, I have to whip it out and prove the bulge is meat that is still alive.
